Knock on memory's door, visit a while, plant a smile, brush a tear and kiss a dream at harness racing's Walk of Fame. Before visitors even enter the Museum they begin to celebrate harness racing. The Walk of Fame, the sport's memory lane, provides a wonderful introduction to the world of the Standardbred. It is harness racing's field of glory: its yesterdays, todays and tomorrows. It is a well-trod path that tells the stories of the men, women and horses who have given their best; the races and racetracks that set the stage; the family members who honor their loved ones, the faithful fans who always believe and the workers whose dedication is beyond measure. Final orders are now being taken for pavers and bricks for the Walk of Fame. They must be received by Thursday, April 15 to ensure placement by Hall of Fame Day, Sunday, July 4. One foot square pavers are $500 each ($350 for Museum members) and 4”x8” bricks are $175.00 ($125 for Museum members). Contact development director Joanne Young by calling 845.294.6330, email development@harnessmuseum.com. or visit the Museum's website http://www.harnessmuseum.com/pages/membership/walk_of_fame.htm as soon as possible to ensure your great times are celebrated. The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is located at 240 Main Street in Goshen, New York and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last tour 4:00 p.m.) Thanks to US Trotting Association support the Museum is currently offering free admission for walk-in visitors and $4.00/person for group docent-guided tours.
