The $1 million Canadian Trotting Classic is set for Saturday night at Mohawk Racetrack, and in the latest edition of HarnessRacing Weekend Preview trainer Jimmy Takter talks about the chances his two colts Little Brown Fox and Guccio have to win the race. Takter also has a top contender in the Peaceful Way final, the precocious freshman trotting filly To Dream On, who both he and driver David Miller said is way ahead of her peers.
Also, trainer Steve Carter discusses his 2-year-old pacing colts who are competing in the Elevation at Indiana Downs Saturday night. Meanwhile, the same night in Illinois, the state's big Super Night will be held at Balmoral Park. The top 3-year-old trotter Riccolo will be back in action for the first time and reunited with driver Marcus Miller.
