Levy action at Yonkers

The George Morton Levy Series continued at Yonkers Raceway Saturday night with four $50,000 splits won by Tarver Hanover (1:54.1), Cheyenne Hollywood (1:56.1), Special Report (1:52.2) and Mister Big (1:53).

Tarver Hanover, driven by Patrick Berry, edged Eyes On Kassa by a nose in the first split. The second division was marred by an accident involving Jilliby Spirit A and Black Cat Bone, by still betting favorite Cheyenne Hollywood prevailed for driver Patrick Lachance. Special Report rolled to a victory over He Wants It All in his split for driver Larry Stalbaum, and Mister Big, with Greg Grismore at the lines, picked up his second Levy score by edging Maltese Artist by a nose.
