Two-year-old colt trotter Light Headed romped to a 53 ½-length victory—yes, 53 ½ lengths—in a $1,508 contest at the Bloomsburg, Pa., fair Sunday afternoon, setting a state record for freshman with his national season’s best 2:00.3 effort. The mile comes just four days after the son of SJ’s Caviar broke the all-time trotting track record at the Hughesville fair with a 2:01.4. effort.
