Hammered down to 3-5 despite jumping two classes, Lonesome Attack was unhurried early before unleashing his potent late kick over a "good” surface for Brett Miller. The 5-year-old On The Attack-Lady Lonesome gelding scored in 1:53.2 over the rallying JJ Gladiator and Risk Management.
Virgil Morgan Jr. trains Lonesome Attack, who now boasts $246,884 in career earnings, for Gerrie Tucker, Ciro Gentile and Debbie Bird.
