Longshot wins Am-Nat

Just Like Dream, a filly who finished second behind Flawless Bluestone in a Kentucky Filly Futurity heat last month, won the American National in 1:56 Saturday night at Balmoral Park.



With Joe Anderson driving, Just Like Dream edged Reinvent by a nose for the victory, just her second of the year. Arcola finished third. Coulantine, the favorite, started from the rail but struggled to gain ground from off the pace and finished sixth.
