Lotteria field set

The 56th edition of the Gran Premio Lotteria will be raced at the Agnano track in Naples, Italy, Sunday May 8. It has three divisions/eliminations with eight trotters in each and is raced with a final and a consolation for a total purse of about $800,000. The purse for the final will be $600,000.



There can still be scratches until May 6, but the withdrawn horses will be replaced with substitutes. Initially there were 70 trotters nominated.



Sweden will be very well represented with Tsar d'Inverne, Giant Superman and Digger Crown ready to challenge the top Italian entry Civil Action and the 2004 Lotteria winner Legendary Lover K.
