Mack returning as Hoosier Park race secretary

Kevin Mack, longtime Standardbred official, is returning as Standardbred racing secretary to Hoosier Park Racing and Casino for the upcoming 2010 racing season.

 

A native of Holton, Ind., Mack brings more than 30 years of experience to Hoosier Park. He has served as an official in numerous capacities at tracks in the Midwest, including starter, announcer, judge, and racing secretary. Mack will begin preparing for his position at the upcoming racing secretary meetings held in early December. He will assist in placing Hoosier Park’s premier events, the $200,000 Dan Patch Invitational and the $500,000 (est.) Hoosier Cup, onto the national stakes schedule for 2010.

Hoosier Park Racing and Casino will celebrate its 17th season of harness racing in 2010. Standardbred racing will resume in the spring of 2010, pending date approval from the Indiana Horse Racing Commission. (Hoosier Park)
