Majestized, who finished eighth in the single elimination for the $600,000 Breeders Crown 2-Year-Old Colt Trot, has been scratched by trainer Linda Duncan from Saturday's rich finale. The scratch is the second from that contest, with Pine Credit being withdrawn earlier in the week. Pine Credit instead will race in Friday night's $206,000 Kindergarten final at Vernon Downs.
With Pine Credit drawing post one, his scratch means the entire field of horses will move in one spot. That means elim winner Wheeling N Dealin, whose connections chose post three, will now slide one spot left to post three. Dontyouforgetit, who received a bye directly into the final, will now move from post two to post one.
With the scratches, the two also-eligible horses, Murmur Hanover and Fashion Blizzard, who finished ninth and 10th respectively in the elimination that had just the top eight finishers advancing to the final, will now start. Murmur Hanover is programmed as the 10 and will start from post nine; Fashion Blizzard, because he moved in late, with carry saddle pad 11 and start from post 10.
