Malabar Maple set to stand at Kendal Hills Farm

The trotting stallion Malabar Maple will stand at Kendal Hills Farm in Ontario for the 2009 and 2010 breeding stallions.

 

Malabar Maple earned more than $500,000 on the track, highlighted by wins in the Zweig Memorial in 1:53.2 and in the 3year-old New Jersey Sire Stakes final at the Meadowlands, as well as finishing third in a Hambletonian elimination and fourth in both Breeders Crown finals at ages 2 and 3.
 
Owned by Enviro Stables Ltd. and United Concepts Ltd., Malabar Maple has 66 winners from 167 foals of racing age. His offspring include Grand Circuit winner Maple Sugar (winner of the Robert Stewart at 2 and the Casual Breeze at 3).

 

In Australia, from 2 small crops he has sired the 2year-old Victoria Sires Stakes Champion Trottn On The Ritz and last season's Breeders Crown third place finisher My Mate Mal.

 

Malabar Maple’s 2009 stud fee will be $3,000 plus GST, with special discounts for multiple breedings and discounts for loyal clients who have previously bred to Malabar Maple.
