Ma Ma May I wins in 1:54.2

Ma Ma May I snapped Vysoke Tatry's winning streak at four in the first of three $12,500 divisions of the White Ruffles Series Thursday night at the Meadowlands, winning by a neck in 1:54.2.



Ma Ma May I, driven by Eric Ledford and trained by Seldon Ledford, caught Vysoke Tatry, in the final strides of the race. Kellytuck Sophie was third. Vysoke Tatry came into the second leg of the White Ruffles Series off a sweep of the Snow Angel Series in December and a victory in an opening round division of the White Ruffles.



Ma Ma May I, a 4-year-old daughter of Armbro Mackintosh, has won both of her White Ruffles prelims and will advance to the $48,000 White Ruffles Final Jan. 26. She races in the name of D'Elegance Stable, Preeti Rose Stables and Carmen Iannacone. She has seven wins, four seconds and three thirds from 17 career starts.



In two other White Ruffles divisions, Ideal Dex, driven by Mike Lachance, finished a neck ahead of Blitzen's Best in 1:55, while Percee Angus, driven by Jeff Gregory, prevailed by a length over Patronizing in 1:54.1.
