Mare trots to Har mark

Racsan Jenny set a new track record and season's mark for older trotting mares on a half-mile racetrack with a 1:56.4 win Wednesday night at Harrington Raceway in a $13,500 winners over trot.

The 6-year-old Program Speed mare set all the fractions and held pocket-sitting Orillia Bam Bam safe for a one-length win. Driven by Victor Kirby, it was her third win of the year, all of which have come at Harrington. Her lifetime earnings soared to more than $120,000.

Racsan Jenny is co-owned by John Hynansky, Don Hawk, and trainer Dan Warrington She was bred by Hawk, Warrington and the late NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt.

The former track record holder was Love You Most (1:57), who still holds two records at Harrington.
