Maywood GM leaving

Ken Kiehn, 35, has been named as vice president of sales, marketing and guest services at Arlington Park and thus is leaving his post as general manager at Maywood Park. Kiehn worked at Arlington prior to taking the Maywood position.

According to an Arlington Park press release, at Maywood Kiehn supervised a multi-million dollar renovation of the track, restructured all of the track’s departments, created innovative sales, marketing and advertising campaigns, and increased revenues through the creation of non-racing events and promotions. During his tenure, Maywood established the highest ever single-night handle and set an all-time record for inter-track day and night combined handle.
