The state Senate in Maryland voted Friday morning 26-21 in favor of a bill allowing slot machines at racetracks and three off-track locations. The bill still has to be passed by the House of Delegates where it has met with resistance due to its provision to allow slots in Prince George's County, the home of Rosecroft Raceway, where local delegates have already publicly stated their opposition.
