Micallef scores a six-pack

Driver Mike Micallef found himself on a fast pace to 1,000 career victories when he notched a six-bagger at Windsor Raceway Tuesday night, bringing the 34 year old's win total to 993. Earlier this year he surpassed the $5 million mark in career earnings.

Leading the drivers' dash standings at Windsor so far in 2007, Micallef's win binge of capturing half the 12-race program included successful efforts with Lady O'Grady (1:59); Corundum (2:00); Nevelson Hanover (1:58.1); Dividend Dar (1:56.4); Beat The Street (1:56.2); and Atlantic Filly (1:56.2), who he trains. The track was rated "good."
