Thin Blue Line won Friday night's $275,000 Windy City Pace final at Maywood Park, crossing the wire in 1:52.3 for driver Mike Oosting.



Thin Blue Line closed up the passing lane to wear down the pacesetting Gold Dust Beach to score by three-quarters of a length. Arts Day rallied late to finish third.



Trained by Dick Oldfield for owner Oldfield Farm, Thin Blue Line won for the third time in 14 starts this year, increasing his earnings to $213,185. The winner is a son of Browning Blue Chip.
