Longtime Michigan-based horseman Roger Edwards died Friday, Sept. 12, after a long illness. He was 69.
Mr. Edwards is survived by four children, Patrick Edwards, Robin Edwards, Diane Emrick and James Edwards; brothers, Roland, John, Ned, Ted and Kenny; sisters, Martha and Patricia; and 11 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Martha and Desmond Edwards, and a sister, Nelli Von Beacom.
A small family memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family in care of Diane Emrick, 795 Vernon Road, Columbus, Ohio 43209.
