Brett Miller continued to show that he didn't lose his driving skills during his year-long absence from racing as he won half of the 10 races at Scioto Downs on Thursday night. He scored in the first race with the 2-year-old filly Panolua Bay by The Panderosa with a 2:01 come-from-behind victory. He then won with the sophomore trotter Royal Cat by Mr Lavec in 2:02.2 as they overtook the pacesetter in the stretch. Another victory from off the pace followed with the Western Hanover sophomore lass Pocketfuladiamonds. Her time was 1:57.4. Next came a win with the 10-year-old Luctor's Camflash in 1:57.1.
Miller scored his final victory of the evening in the last race with Myron, a gelded son of The Panderosa, who tripped the timer at 1:56.2. In the six days he's been back driving, Miller has driven in 53 races and compiled a 20-12-5 slate for a Universal Driver Rating of .535. (Scioto)
