Miller six-pack at Du Quoin

August 30, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Andy Miller got off to a fast start Tuesday night on the delayed opening-night 12-race card at the Du Quoin State Fair with six trips to the winner’s circle, including a 1:58 score with Adam Gram in the $30,000 Pronto Don for 3-year-old colt and gelding trotters.

The time was a career-best for Adam Gram, a son of Valley Victor owned and bred by Carol Graham, Thomas Graham Jr. and trainer Thomas Graham. The time lowered his mark by one-fifth of a second, which he had set while winning at Springfield, Ill., on Aug. 12.

The win was Adam Gram’s fifth in 12 starts this year and 12th in 33 career attempts. His earnings now stand at $104,382.
