August 24, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Published reports state the undefeated 2-year-old filly pacer Miss Intuition, who landed post one in the first of three She’s A Great Lady eliminations at Mohawk Saturday, has been sold for an undisclosed price to Joseph Muscara, who owned her sire Mach Three. Trainer Erv Miller, who shared ownership, will continue to train according to the reports.

Miss Intuition has won all five of her career starts, all coming on the Illinois fair circuit. Her latest victory came Aug. 14 when she won at Springfield in a career-best 1:52. Overall, she has earned just $4,375 for her unblemished record.

Miss Intuition was a $17,000 yearling purchase by Miller and Omer Miller, selling an interest recently to Nelson Herschberger. Miller was quoted as saying that the decision to sell Miss Intuition was not a unanimous vote.

"There was a little confrontation about it, some people didn't want to sell her because of how good she's been," Miller told Standardbred Canada.
