Partyatbartsplace was third when Aaron Merriman sent him after the leader, Mattamerican. The pair dueled until midstretch, where Partyatbartsplace edged clear and downed Mattamerican by a length in a career-best 1:53.3. Dealin Dan rallied for show.

In the $20,000 Preferred Trot, converted claimer Call To Post powered to the lead past the quarter and was unassailable thereafter, scoring in 1:54, a lifetime mark. Early leader Bound For Fame was second, 2-1/4 lengths back, while Tamarind closed well for show. Doug Snyder piloted the 5-year-old Tom Ridge-Poster Princess gelding, who soared over $100,000 in career earnings, for trainer Dane Snyder and owner Danielle Snyder.
