Although power remains out at the Delaware, Ohio County Fairgrounds due to the extremely windy remnants of Hurricane Ike, the four Ohio Breeders Championships and Fouts Memorial Pace canceled on Sunday because of the weather will be raced at noon Monday, and the reguarly scheduled card will begin at 1:30 p.m. Phone service has been restored as of 11:30 a.m., and Delaware officials expect power to be restored shortly.
With the phones back in service, horsemen entering horses on Monday have until 1:30 p.m. to enter their horses.
Although Monday's card will be held, Delaware officials announced that there will be no signal sent out so simulcast outlets will not be able to offer wagering.
All of Delaware County was without power earlier Monday morning, and more than 1 million customers in the central Ohio area were without power.
