Meadowlands Racing Secretary Pete Koch has added the "Dash the C-Note" for C class condition horses for next weekend. Those races will be, in effect, a mini-series for the class. On Friday, the C-2 trots will race for the standard purse of $8,000. The top money winners from those races will return on Friday, April 5 and race for $17,500. Saturday's sheet promises the same for both the C-2 and C-1 pacers. They go for the standard amount next Saturday, coming back on April 6 at the $17,500 level for C-2 and $20,000 for C-1. Friday's races will be drawn on Monday, March 25 and Saturday's card is drawn on Tuesday. The box closes at 9:00am on both days. The condition sheet is available on the Meadowlands website.
