You may have more choices for obtaining your harness racing past performances in program form in the future. That's because the United States Trotting Association is presently in negotiations with both TrackMaster, the current vendor in the U.S. and the Daily Racing Form so both could offer the programs.
Presently, TrackMaster has an exclusive to sell past performance information compiled by the USTA, and current negotiations are to allow both TrackMaster and DRF to do so. “Right now, contract language is flowing back and forth between all parties,” said Mike Tanner, executive vice president of the USTA.
Tanner said he is hopeful that a deal will be finalized soon, but had said it could be a few more weeks before the outcome of the negotiations are known. --harnessracing.com
