In the first of three Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) colt paces Sunday at Dover Downs, Sun Power was strongest in the stretch recording a 1:58.1 victory for driver Ben Stafford Jr. who co-owns the Powerful Toy colt with John Heckler and Randall Stafford. Deadwood City closed along the passing lane to get up for second with Jim King driving. Fourchu and Herve Filion was the show finisher.

Be Bad Bill made his first DSBF start a winning one as Ross Wolfenden pulled the Badlands Hanover colt to the outside heading for the three-quarters and then overpowered the Kevin Sizer-driven Mr. Aviator with a :28 final panel and a 1:55 victory. Jesse's Bad Boy held on to third for Eddie Davis Jr. nipping Main-A-Dieu and D. Mark King at the wire.

Brad Hanners wasted no time getting the lead after being forced three wide at the quarter but had no trouble from there guiding Andiamo Subito to an easy 1:55.4 success. Mountain Air, reined by Filion, proved second best. Get Out Of Tune with Davis was the show horse. The win was the sixth of the season and third in a row for the Badlands Hanover colt, Andiamo Subito, who has only twice been off the board in 12 races for owners Carl Cocciolone and Bernie Horabik.

Tom O. Lail's Secret Agent took the lead at the start and then fought off a challenge from Swissonian and David Miller to win his second straight $15,000 colt trot in 2:02.2 with Eddie Dennis at the controls. Mr. Consistent and Jim Morand were third for the second consecutive week. Secret Agent has now been 1-2-3 in all six starts.

Powerful Committee, owned by Tina Clark, Charles "Bobby" Clark and Cantwell Bridge Stable, won an early non-wagering $15,000 trot prelim in 2:03 with Tony Morgan driving. Bobby O and Tim Tetrick was the runner-up. Olympic Soccer, teamed with Art Stafford Jr., took third money. The win for the CR Commando gelding is his first in two lifetime pari-mutuel starts.

After two preliminary legs, both DSBF colt and filly division's top eight point getters qualify for four $100,000 finals next Sunday, Dec. 3. (From Dover Downs)
