With the snow steadily increasing for the final event on the 15-race card Sunday at Dover Downs, Gary and Barbara Iles' homebred Lather Machine paid no mind as Mike Cole drove the Badlands Hanover-Pocket Comb gelding to his second straight comeback win in 1:55.2 to win the $14,500 pace giving driver Cole a double. Fox Ridge Connor (Jon Roberts) finished second with Ruffled Tux (Tony Morgan) third.

Fire The Dragon roared down the stretch to overtake Outahere Hanover (Tom Jackson) at the wire in 2:00 to win a $12,600 Delaware filly and mare pace. Roger Plante, who won two races during the program, steered the Dragon Again-Tacambaro sophomore for Onery Inc. Bluffs Real Deal (Corey Callahan) collected third money.

Morgan's fourth win came driving Mattox's Spencer to a 1:58.1 triumph in an $11,000 pace for Kristen Marie Bartlett and Scott Dillon. It was the second consecutive win for the Camluck-Artopia gelding trained by meet leader Josh Green. DVCFlyingfrenchman (Callahan) was the place finisher with Hare Force One (Ross Wolfenden) third.

Richard Zulick's Bail Bond Hanover recorded his second win in a row as Morgan drove the Cam's Card Shark-Be Bad Girl gelding from off the pace to a 1:56.4 victory in a $25,000 claiming allowance. Smile Fromeartoear (Joe Columbo) was runner-up. Arterosa (Wolfenden) took show honors.

Vic Kirby and Rocket Laag emerged from the pack heading down the lane and held off Who's Next (Callahan) at the wire in 1:57.3 to win the $20,000 Delaware claiming allowance. The Grey Jet Laag-Meadow Mistique gelding scored his first win of the year for trainer Archie Peel and co-owner Dream Fields. Grand Duke Hanover (Wolfenden) was the third-place finisher.
