Morgan wins 6 at Dover

Midnight Express and Winbak Len won the co-feature races Saturday at Dover Downs. Spicy Sport took the $30,000 Claiming pace. Tony Morgan drove six winners while Brad Hanners and trainer Josh Green won four baggers.

In the first of the co-feature $13,800 races, Midnight Express made it three wins in his last four outings as Tony Morgan posted his second win on the card, driving the 4-year-old Island Fantasy gelding to a lifetime fastest 1:53.1 victory for Wayne Pryor Estate and Wendy Crissman. Search And Rescue (Tim Tetrick), a recent Down Under import, finished second in front of B Dee's Artist (Brandon Givens).

Winbak Len won the other $13,800 division, recording a 1:53.4 victory in the race named for Irish Society of Delmarva. Long Gone Jo (Ross Wolfenden) and Fox Valley Quache (Tony Morgan) were second and third, respectively. The win was the second for driver Tim Tetrick, trainer Josh Green and owner Green Racing, who co-owns the 4-year-old Rustler Hanover gelding with Bruce Fisher.

Jim Morand drove Tandar Hanover to a come-from-behind 1:52.4 victory for Rich Michielli, Art and Andrew Stafford in a $13,700 Delaware Male pace. Iluka Bay N (Brad Hanners) led until the final steps and finished second. Midnight Eyre N (Tony Morgan) was the show horse.

Brad Hanners and Josh Green teamed to win the $30,000 Claiming pace when Tom Weber's Spicy Sport turned in the fastest clocking of the night, a 1:51.3 victory in the top claiming event on the program. Mattruly (Roger Plante) was second with Limerick (Ross Woflenden) third.

Blowout Hanover paid an immediate dividend to owner Rodney Mitchell. After being claimed last time out, the Cam's Card Shark 5 year old won a $25,000 claimer in a career fastest 1:51.3 For driver Brad Hanners and trainer Josh Green it was their third win of the night. Cloudy Heights (Tim Tetrick) finished second in front of Letsgetreadytrumbl (Roger Plante).

Art Brewer's Vested Hanover stepped up a notch in price and won a $20,000 Claiming pace in 1:53.3 with Tony Morgan at the controls. The 9-year-old Cam's Card Shark gelding held off fast finishing Hezapeach (Tim Tetrick). Rocco's Rocket (Roger Plante) was third.

Yankee Apollo, owned by Ken Dawson and driven by Bret Brittingham, closed with a rush to catch the leader Big Sham (Jim Morand) in deep stretch to win a $17,500 Claiming Allowance in 1:53.1. Cobbler Hanover (Ross Wolfenden) finished third.

Brad Hanners' second win of the night came guiding Bonnie Allen and Brenda Harper's Western Rock to his second straight win chalking up a 1:54.1 decision in a $15,000 Delaware claimer. Dudley Death Drop (George Dennis) was runner-up. Il Campione N (Jim Morand) took the show payoff. (Dover Downs)
