He's out of the sale and headed for a stud career in Kentucky. Mr. Feelgood, the winner of the 2006 Little Brown Jug, will not be sold at the Tattersalls Mixed Sale next month at the Meadowlands. He will stand at stud for the 2007 season at Brittany Farms in Kentucky.
Mr. Feelgood became the fastest 3-year-old pacer of all time on a half-mile track with his victory in the Little Brown Jug. He won the classic in straight heats, establishing both single-dash (1:50) and two-heat (1:50-1:50.3) world records with his victory.
Mr. Feelgood's pedigree is strongly connected to Brittany Farms. He's a son of Grinfromeartoear, a son of the prolific Artsplace, who was born and raised at Brittany. His dam is Best Of Memories, a daughter of Brittany's famed Jugette winner Leah Almahurst.
Mr. Feelgood's foals will be eligible for nomination to the Kentucky Sire Stakes program, with three legs at $50,000 each and a $200,000 final per division.
