Downstate New York Sire Stakes action continued Tuesday night, with Yonkers Raceway entertaining the $278,050 New Rochelle Trot for 3-year-old fillies. Five divisions went postward.

Defending state-bred champion Munis Blue Chip (Ray Schnittker) did nothing to ruin the resume, toying with 'em in the $56,419 second event in as-she-pleased fashion.

Leaving from post position No. 2 at two bits on the dollar,  "Munis" took it to the house by 4 3/4 unpressured lengths in 1:59.3. Sweetspellosuccess (Jason  Bartlett) left well from her outside impost, but could do nothing with the victress. Lindy's Prom Queen (Dave Pinkney Jr.) was third, with Sheezacredit (John Stark Jr.)  fourth.

Munis Blue Chip, a daughter of Credit Winner co-owner by (trainer) Schnittker, Arnold, Silva and Blue Chip Bloodstock, returned $2.50 for her fourth  win in nine seasonal starts (9-for-20 lifetime). The exacta paid $11.20, the triple returned $75 and the superfecta paid $402.

"She just wants to do her job," Schnittker said. "We thought about putting in the (Hambletonian) Oaks, but decided to keep her in the sire stakes program  instead.

"I think she'd have won the Hudson (Filly Trot) if we had the trip the winner (Spicy Wings) had," Schnittker said. "She wound up second there, but she's  easily as good any anything in this state."

The $55,410 opening division was won by people's choice Upside Blue Chip (Phil Fluet), who eased out of the pocket and  held off a closing My   Winning Way K (Jordan Stratton) by a half-length in a flat two minutes.

L Dee's Maggie (Bartlett) was third.

Upside Blue Chip, a daughter of Dream Vacation co-owned by (trainer) Fluet and Tom Vassiliou, returned $3.90 for her third win (with three seconds and three thirds) in nine '10 tries. The exacta paid $10.80, with the triple returning $48.40.

Tuesday evening's final ($55,410) sire stakes soiree went to a resurgent Show Your Lindys (Frode Fladen), who pulled from third and was able to get the better of  pace-setting Tuesdays with Mom (Jeff Gregory) and pocket-sitting Dream Slate (Bartlett). The trio hit the line together in 2:00.4, with margins of a nose and a neck, respectively.

For Show You Lindys, a Dream Vacation miss trained by Tony Montni for co-owners Kjell Andersen and Troy Mollohan, she returned $12 (third choice) for her second win (seasonal best) in nine seasonal starts. The exacta paid $29.80, with the triple returning $306.

"She's a good, small-track filly," Fladen said. ""She was in a tough place in the Hudson (finished fifth), but she always tries. I would think she'd stay with the sire stakes for the rest of the season."

The other NYSS events, each worth $55,410, were won by...

--Windmerealfiredup (by Dream Vacation); co-owners Hodgson,Linemaster Svcs,Kennedy,Windemere Frms/trainer Bruce Lauer/driver Jim Marshall  III; 2:00.1/$33.80;

--Frosty Flirt (by Plesac); owner-trainer Tracy Brainard/driver Cat Manzi; 1:59/$4.

Sire stakes continue here Friday night, with the $245,456 Clyde Hirt Pace (2-year-old fillies) in eight consecutive divisions. (Yonkers)
