Jason Johnson's My Ideal Hanover ($6.40, Victor Kirby) prevailed in Tuesday's $11,000 featured conditioned event at Harrington Raceway with a 1:53.3 triumph.
The 5-year-old Western Ideal mare had won five in a row before suffering a defeat in the $30,000 Legislator's Cup at Harrington on Governor's Day during the Delaware State Fair. After a pair of seventh-place finishes in Open company at Yonkers Raceway in her ensuing efforts, ‘Ideal' returned home where she received some class relief for trainer Ed Gannon Jr. She set all the fractions from post position eight, and held off Sucha Bad Girl and Whistler Seelster for a one-length win. It was the sixth win of the year for My Ideal Hanover and 16th in 86 career starts.
Driver George Dennis had three winners on the 12-race card. Sean Bier and Montrell Teague each had a double. (Harrington)
