Windsong Soprano charged to a 1:53.3 national seasons record in an overnight event Monday at Mohawk Racetrack. The millionaire daughter of Windsongs Legacy took command past the quarter pole and never looked back setting fractions of :55.3 and 1:24.3 before defeating her rivals by five lengths.
Steve Condren did the driving for trainer Bob McIntosh and owner Lothlorien. The Armbro Flight will mark Windsong Soprano’s first major test of 2010 for Open trotting mares which takes place on July 16 at Mohawk Racetrack.
"She’s always nicely on the bit; you always seem to know what kind of horse you have. She’s been a top mare all her life with over a million dollars made," Condren told WEG’s media department. (WEG)
