The Meadowlands has named two members of its management team to new positions as Alex Dadoyan has been appointed vice president/off-track wagering and Sam McKee as director of simulcasting/announcer.
Dadoyan will coordinate and oversee the construction and implementation of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority's off-track wagering locations. Dadoyan joined the NJSEA in 1997 and previously served as associate director of television production and, most recently, as director of simulcasting. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. McKee will coordinate day-to-day simulcasting operations at both the Meadowlands and Monmouth Park, while also continuing his announcing duties. He joined the Meadowlands full-time in 2000 as track announcer and television host, and most recently served as manager of the track's award-winning television department. Prior to joining the NJSEA, McKee held positions in a variety of racetrack management roles, including director of operations at Northville Downs in Michigan; director of simulcasting and video operations at Ladbroke-DRC; and director of group sales, announcer, and publicist at Raceway Park in Toledo, Ohio. McKee's distinctive race calls have been heard at many of harness racing's premier events and venues, including The Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky and the Delaware, Ohio fairgrounds, home of the Little Brown Jug. Dadoyan and McKee will provide oversight of the Meadowlands' television department, while longtime television team members Anthony Rodriguez and Gina DiBartolo will handle the day-to-day operations of the department.
