Take My Picture and Money Man K turned in winning efforts to take the 2-year-old trotting divisions of the New Jersey Futurity on Wednesday at Freehold Raceway.

In the $25,250 first division, Take My Picture, with Cat Manzi driving, posted his second career victory in eight starts with a 1 1/2-length tally in 2:01.3. The gelded son of Classic Photo caught Upfront Pattys Boy (Windsong’s Legacy) for the victory.  It was three lengths back to Reviewer (Yankee Glide) who rebounded from an early break to finish third.

Take My Picture ($5.20) is trained by Taylor Gower and owned by Joseph and Laurie Davino of Clarksburg, N.J.

In the $24,750 second division, Money Man K ($7.20) was on the lead at every call and held on for a three-quarter length victory over Kitefin Hanover (Muscles Yankee). Reporting For Duty (Yankee Glide) was third.

Money Man K, driven by Steve Smith and trained by Rich Gillock, covered the mile in 2:04.1. The son of Revenue, owned by his breeder, Robert J. Key of Leechburg, Pa., picked up his first win in three starts.

The Futurities are for New Jersey-sired horses and are sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey. (SBOANJ)
