Lloyd Arnold's Redford Hall ($4) set a new track record for 4-year-old pacers Monday at Harrington Raceway in 1:51.3 in the featured $19,200 Delaware Special. The 4-year-old Cambest gelding was sent to the front from post five with driver Tony Morgan aboard, where he set fractions of :27, :55 and 1:23.3. He held off a late charge from Hot Lather and Village Blitz for a one-length score. The Tim Crissman trainee increased his seasonal earnings to nearly $90,000. The former record holder for 4-year-old pacing geldings was Ima Prince Too (1:52.2). Redford Hall's mile was also the fastest time of the 2007 Spring Meet.
In the $18,100 Junior Open, Patchel Family Racing Stable's Home Run Hudson ($6.60, Ross Wolfenden) earned his sixth win of the year in 1:52.4. The Josh Green-trained 5-year-old Astreos stallion has been first or second in each of his last eight starts. (Harrington)
