The Passamaquoddy Indian Tribe earlier proposed building a new harness track in eastern Maine and it has now received approval of the Maine House of Representatives to install slot machines at the site. The House approved the measure by a vote of 82-60, with the bill now going to the Senate and at least one more vote in the House.
