Brittany Farms, in conjunction with Marvin Katz, Michael Parisi, Joe Sbrocco and Myron Bell, are proud to announce that a limited amount of shares in the great pacing colt Captaintreacherous p,2, 1:49.2 ($917,141) will be available for purchase this fall.

"The Captain” started his stakes campaign with an amazing track record victory in the Woodrow Wilson final at the Meadowlands in 1:49.3. It was then on to Canada where he triumphed in the Nassagaweya, won a Metro elimination in 1:49.3, and then the $1 million Metro final in a stakes-record equaling 1:49.2.

Back in the U.S. at Lexington's Grand Circuit fall meet at The Red Mile, Captaintreacherous won the prestigious Bluegrass and International Stallion Stakes. He then headed back to Canada and triumphed in the Breeders Crown elimination in 1:50.

The Breeders Crown concluded a phenomenal 2-year-old campaign for Captaintreacherous: $917,141 in earnings; eight wins, one second and one third in 10 starts; and four victories in 1:50 or better—a record never before achieved. With the combination of trainer Tony Alagna and driver Tim Tetrick's youth and experience, he is poised for two more great racing seasons.

Being by new superstar sire Somebeachsomewhere, out of Worldly Treasure, a full sister to Worldly Beauty p, 4, 1:49.3 ($1,900,255), Captaintreacherous has impeccable bloodlines for his future beyond racing.
