Mandas Mistyclover trotted her way to victory over a sloppy track in a non-betting $3,000 division of the Maryland Sire Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Rosecroft Raceway Monday night, earning her second win of the year from four starts.

The daughter of Dedicated Yankee, owned and bred by Donnie and Nancy Drewer, led the mile wire to wire through quarters of :31.1, 1:03.3 and 1:34.4 to win by over two lengths in 2:04.4. Driven by Cliff Green from the rail for trainer Darryle Dennis, Mandas Mistyclover upped her lifetime earnings to over $33,000.

Double Time, reined by co-owner Gene Daisey Sr., was second after coming first-over nearing the stretch. Owned by Daisey Sr. and trainer Gene Daisey Jr., the Program Speed filly finished second last week as well to Mandas Mistyclover.

Whitesville Filly closed alertly for third with David Hill III in the sulky. Owned and trained by Gary White, the Meadow Crown filly came second-over behind Double Time with a final quarter of :30.4.

Later in the evening, Four Starz Robro set a new track record for 4-year-old trotting stallions, winning the $10,200 Open in 1:55.1. Driven by Corey Braden, the Conway Hall horse led wire to wire from post five through fractions of :28, :57.3 and 1:26.3 over a very sloppy track. Trained by Judy Welty for owner Kelley Rogers, Four Starz Robro topped the Rosecroft track record of 1:55.4 previously held by four horses: HT’s Baltic (Bill Long, August 27, 1999), Shark Kosmos (Roger Hammer, May 31, 2002), TV Show Kosmos (Chuck Perry, Jr., August 2, 2002) and Modern Marvel (John Wagner, April 25, 2006).
