New Weekend Preview now available!

Return Home
November 15, 2012 | Print View

The new HarnessRacing Weekend Preview is now available, taking a look at stakes action that takes place at Maywood Park, Dover Downs and Western Fair. Also, all the news from the recent yearling and mixed sales in Harrisburg can be found in theWeekend Preview, with plenty of stats that includes a look at sire averages and the high-price purchases.

The weekend's stakes action gets underway Friday at Chicago's Maywood Park with the Windy City Pace the centerpiece of a quartet of rich contests. It's been awhile since A Rocknroll Dance last saw the winner's circle, but trainer Jim Mulinix and driver David Miller reveal some changes that have been made in hope of a Windy City victory.

Miller heads back to Dover Downs on Sunday where Matron finals for all 2-year-old divisions and a trio of Matron finals for 3 year olds are on tap. While 3-year-old colt pacers aren't in Matron action, they are on the track in the Progress Pace final. One of Miller's Matron drives is the 2-year-old colt trotter San Royal Blu, and he and trainer Tye Loy talk about how the freshman sprung the 43-1 upset in last week's Matron preview.
