Paul McDougall Racing and WJ McDougall Racing's Nidya A ($5.40) became the second two-time winner in the $21,000 Mares Junior Open Tuesday at Harrington Raceway. Driven by Ross Wolfenden, the 7-year-old Albert Albert mare collared pacesetting Casino Bus going to three-quarters and overpowered her foes for a one length win over Sixteen Candles and Firiel Hanover. Sixteen Candles is the only other repeat winner in the class. Nidya A is trained by Peter Tritton and picked up her fourth win of the year as her seasonal earnings approach $100,000. In the other Junior Open divisions, Hopefull N ($21.60, Brandon Givens) and Bad Baby Jane ($29.80, Corey Callahan) were victorious. (Harrington)
