According to NJbiz.com New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has appointed a commission to develop plans on gaming, sports venues and Xanadu. The seven members of the commission do not include any representatives from the horse or casino industries.
The commission will be led by Jon F. Hanson, former chairman of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, the rest of the commission includes: Debra P. DiLorenzo, president and chief executive officer of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey; Robert E. Mulcahy III, a former NJSEA president and Rutgers University athletic director; Finn Wentworth, principal of Normandy Partners and founder of the YES Network; Al Leiter, a former professional baseball player; Wes Lang, managing director of investment and development company WML Partners LLC; and Rutgers law school professor Robert Holmes.
