NJSS opens 2010 season on May 14-15

The 2010 New Jersey Sire Stakes Premier Division will open the racing season at The Meadowlands on May 14 and 15 with the first of two preliminary rounds of competition for three-year-old pacers that will conclude with $200,000 championship finals on May 29.

Sire Stakes competition for three-year-old pacing fillies is slated to begin May 14, with the colts and geldings on the following night on May 15.  New Jersey-sired three-year-old trotters will begin competing on May 27 with Premier Division races for fillies and on May 28 for colts and geldings.
  
NJSS Premier Division races for two-year-olds will begin with two preliminary rounds in June and conclude with a $1.6-million championship night of eight $200,000 finals on July 17. (NJSS)
