Daryl Bier’s Roy Orbisong ($13.20) equaled the all-aged track record at Harrington Raceway Monday, by winning the $20,000 Open Pace in 1:50.4. The 5-year-old Ft. Apache Hanover gelding equaled the mark set by Spirit of a Shark in 2006. Roy Orbison is also trained and driven by Bier.

Sniper Hall set fractions of :27, :55.3 and 1:23 while Roy Orbisong mounted his attack first-over. In deep stretch, Roy Orbisong surged by and held off a fast charging Harlingen Hanover for the win. Mystique Cruiser finished third.

Driver Mike Cole won four races on the card. Bier, Tony Morgan and Ross Wolfenden each won two races. (Harrington)
