Nominations for 16 winter series to be raced at Meadowlands Racetrack in 2010 will close Dec. 1, 2009.
Harness racing returns to the Meadowlands on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010. The first week of series action begins Wednesday, Jan. 6, and includes the Super Bowl for trotters 4 years old and under, the White Ruffles for 4-year-old pacing mares, the Clyde Hirt for pacers four and under, and the Complex for those five and under.
All 16 events are three-week series consisting of two preliminary legs and a final. Each final is estimated to be worth more than $50,000.

Nominations for the Art Unger, Matt's Scooter and Berry's Creek will close Feb. 15, 2010. A complete 2010 racing schedule will be announced, pending approval by the New Jersey Racing Commission. (Meadowlands)
