The competitive $393,750(C) final of the Milton Stakes highlights yet another stellar Saturday card from Mohawk, one which will include a $130,000(C) OSS Gold final for 2-year-old pacing colts, the return of Little Brown Jug winner Mr. Feelgood, fan favorite Doonbeg, and another solid 3 year old debuting for a new trainer.

The connections of Milton elimination winners Glowing Report (PP3, David Miller) and Invitro (PP2, Paul MacDonell) selected their charges' respective post positions prior to the draw, which saw Burning Point (PP8, Ron Pierce), Loyal Opposition (PP9, George Brennan) and early season sensation Vysoke Tatry (PP10, Jody Jamieson) receive outside starting spots.

Marnie Hall, the speedy 2006 Golden Girls champ to be driven by Dan Dube, drew favorably and will start from post four.

The $130,000 OSS Gold final for the juvenile pacing colts is another very evenly-matched tilt. The 10-horse field will feature elim winners Sergei Seelster (PP2, Mark MacDonald), Sipwiththepres (PP7, Rick Zeron) and Twin B Survivor (PP8, Paul MacDonell), all of whom triumphed in mark-lowering 1:52.3 clockings last week over the Campbellville oval.

Making his first start since setting world records at Ohio's Delaware County Fairgrounds, 2006 Little Brown Jug champion Mr. Feelgood (PP6, Mark MacDonald) will start from the outside post position in the second of two $56,552 OSS Gold eliminations for the 3-year-old pacing colts.

Mr Feelgood is set to lock horns with fellow top notch Ontario-breds Doonbeg (PP3, Jody Jamieson) and Stormaway (PP4, Mark Megens).

Eagle Luck (PP3, Luc Ouellette), who also competed in the Little Brown Jug, is the headliner in the first OSS Gold elim for the 3-year-old pacing colts.

Fox Valley Tribal, the 3-year-old Sportsmaster gelding who finished a solid third in the $1.5 million(C) Pepsi North America Cup at Woodbine in mid June, will be making his debut for new trainer Brett Robinson in the 3- and 4-year-old Open Pace.

Fox Valley Tribal, who was recently purchased by Antonio Chiaravalle (a resident of Hamilton, Ontario) has banked $341,137 of his $495,677 career purses this season, and took a mark of 1:49 at Springfield, Ill., while conditioned by Bob Sanders. (WEG)
