Norma Campbell, known for her work at the Meadowlands, serving for many years as owner liason and special events coordinator, died in New Jersey Sunday night after an extended illness.
A native of Canada, Campbell began working at the Meadowlands in the 1970s. In 2002 she was honored by The Hambletonian Society, which named her the recipient of the annual Frederick L. Van Lennep Award.
Funeral arrangements for Campbell have not yet been announced.
