North American exports tripled in Sweden on the Friday night card at the Axevall track. The feature race was won by Plantagenet, who scored in 1:56.2 with Erik Adielsson in the sulky. Racino, driven by Johnny Takter, finished second while Vino Camielle was third.
Plantagenet, a son of Donerail, took a mark of 1:53.4 and earned $247,613 before he was exported. Racino, a 5-year-old son of SJ's Photo, won an elimination for the Stanley Dancer Trot during his racing career in the U.S., while Vino Camielle took a mark of 1:54 and earned $154,388 before he was exported.
