The New York Sire Stakes circuit makes one last stop at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday night, first post time 6:40 pm.  Seven divisions of freshman colt trotters will take to the Hamburg Oval going for close to $20,000 in purse money.

In the first division, race 4, trainer and driver John Hallett will have to use his driving skills to get Typical NewYorker from post eight to the winners circle.  Daleydaydream trained and driven by Dan Daley will start from the second hole.  While Whitewater Rapids with trainer-driver Ray Schnittker will start from the seventh post position.

Race 5 features a pair of division winners at Yonkers Raceway on July 8 Petruchio will have Jim Morrill aboard while Gates Brunet will send out Rhythmic Moves.

All In Tad, bred by Blue Chip Farms, will go in the third division, along with locally-trained Pistachio and Front Man, who finished second at Yonkers two weeks ago.

Trainer Torgeir Hagmann will bring down Rarely Ordinary from Canada to compete in the eighth race.  The Lexington purchase has qualified well but will have to start from far outside. Peter Crossmon from Ken Ball’s stable faired better at the draw starting from post five.

A trifecta of Cash Hall colts are in the fifth division.  Im The Cash Man, Quantum Cashman and Com’n Atcha Cash will all be looking for the big cash.

In the 12th race, Pay The Winner, a Credit Winner colt trained and driven by Sam Schillaci, should be the favorite again, having two wins in two starts including a win at Tioga in the Tompkins – Geer Stakes last week.  New Identity, driven by Howard Okusko, and Mister Mojo, guided by Brandon Simpson, will try to stop the winning streak.

In the final divison, Ray Schnittker’s entry of You Go Now and Petraeus will duel it out with Spectator K, driven by Jack Flanigen, and Ever Optimistic, who was breed at Winbak Farms. (Buffalo Raceway)
