O'Brien finalists announced

Standardbred Canada today announced the finalists for the 2006 O'Brien Awards with only 3-year-old filly trotter Pure Ivory being named a unanimous winner. The awards are named in honor of the late Joe O'Brien, an outstanding horseman and a member of The Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame. The winners will be announced at the O'Brien Awards banquet on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007.
