Standardbred Canada has released the breakdown of the voting for the 2009 O'Brien Awards. The ceremony took place Saturday night, Jan. 30 at the Delta Meadowvale in Mississauga, Ont. The O'Brien for the 3-year-old filly pacers was not awarded by Standardbred Canada after the Ontario Racing Commission suspended the license of Bulletproof Enterprises--the owner of both finalists--and all other entities involved with Jeffrey Brooks, as well as his family members.
