On April 1 the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation State Board (OFBF) voted to support Ohio’s equine industry and the Ohio State Racing Commission’s proposal for related gaming at Ohio’s horse tracks.
The Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association, in a posting on its web site, issed this statement: "Having the support of the OFBF, the State’s most powerful agriculture group, is an important step in obtaining expanded gaming for our industry. Everyone involved with Ohio horse racing should support the OFBF by becoming a member of Farm Bureau. Check the OFBF website www.ofbf.org for membership application, or contact them at 1-888-476-9948."
